Ratong Centre: Empowering Women for a Brighter Tomorrow

Welcome to Ratong Centre, a Non-Governmental Organization founded in 2019 and officially registered in 2021. Located in the heart of Gaborone, Botswana, we cater to women aged 18 to 50 who seek psycho-economic empowerment. Our organization is committed to empowering women, fostering self-sufficiency, and instilling a sense of independence, self-worth, and dignity.

Life skills Training

Our Life Skills Training programs at Ratong Women Center go beyond traditional education, focusing on equipping women survivors with practical skills essential for personal and professional growth. Through carefully designed courses, participants engage in hands-on learning experiences such as basket weaving, sewing programs, and baking lessons.

Socio-Economic Empowerment

we believe in addressing the root causes of vulnerability. Our Socio-Economic Empowerment initiatives are crafted to provide women survivors with the tools needed to break free from cycles of dependence. These programs encompass a holistic approach, integrating job readiness training, financial literacy, and access to resources.

Psycho-Social Support

Our in-house social workers provide personalized psychosocial support, offering one-on-one counseling, group support sessions, and family intervention. We believe in the transformative power of emotional healing as a crucial step towards rebuilding lives.
